Jean Marie Koka, DO

Dr. Jean Marie Koka is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Abington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Koka continued her medical education by completing a rigorous fellowship in hematology and oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital, heavily focusing on hematologic malignancies and transplant medicine as well as solid tumors including breast, lung and colon cancers. She joined Rittenhouse Hematology Oncology in 2011.

She is currently triple board certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Koka is also the Chair of Hematology and Oncology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, Dr. Koka is also an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Drexel University.

Although Dr. Koka treats a vast variety of hematologic and oncologic issues, she does focus on genitourinary cancers and is currently participating in multiple clinical trials pertaining to this.

In her free time, Dr. Koka enjoys baking with her children and spending time with her husband.
