William M Lee, MD
Born in Colorado, raised primarily in Southern California, and attended University of California at Berkeley majoring in Molecular Cell Biology. Prior to medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine, he was a high school chemistry and biology teacher in south central Los Angeles. He completed training in Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Drexel/Hahnemann University Hospital. As one of the founding members of a hematology/oncology interest group consisting of medical students and residents, he has published multiple abstracts and poster presentations at ASH (American Society of Hematology) and ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology). Current member of both organizations and a Commissioner in the Office of LGBT Affairs for the city of Philadelphia.
Dr. Lee enjoys participating in multiple local sports activities benefiting charitable city organizations.
